A haven of tranquility in the beautiful village of Dol. The villa offers several outside spaces to lounge around in sun or shade. The bedrooms are a great size, as are the living room and kitchen (which is very well equipped). Everything you need is less than 10 mins drive away in lovely Stari Grad – supermarkets, restaurants etc. The delightful restaurant in the village of Dol is also worth a visit. Sanja was a great help and very communicative. Highly recommended.

Are you looking for the perfect peaceful place. IT’S HERE! We have used Airbnb for years, and this is our #1 place out of more than 50 stays. Loved New Everything, Quaint, Great Location, Attention to Details, Sanja is always responsive to any questions or needs you might have, loved her kindness in showing us everything in the home and friendly personality, fresh flowers throughout the home, easy to just melt away in comfort and a feeling of being pampered by your surroundings, less than 10 minutes to the beautiful town of Stari Grad and 20 minutes HVAR, grocery stores, amazing restaurants, shopping and countless cobble stone streets. Ideal place to come and stay without a care in the world. We had eggs. butter, milk, water, traditional cookies waiting for our arrival. This place is 5 Stars️

We enjoyed our stay in Matthew´s place and in Hvar Island so much! The place had everything we need to stay comfy, great quality furniture and utensils, excellent shower,bed and linnen, impecably cleaned. Everything is so beautiful and cozy, we felt home right away. Sanja and Stella were very helpful and kind from before the check-in to the day we left, it wasa pleasure to meet them. The location is great, just around the corner from all the restaurants, cafés,groceries stores,etc, but in a quiet and private place. Stari Grad is a friendly and pleasant place to stay, balancing a lively but relaxing atmosphere. And as Sanja told us,the south beaches are the most amazing ones (I totally fell for Ivan Dolac.) Recommend to anyone!

Perfect base for our week exploring the island. Very clean with a very responsive agency the host works with. Very close to everything you’ll need including supermarkets and the main bus stop. Stari Grad is beautiful, so glad we chose to stay there over Hvar!

My fav airbnb so far!! Everything was perfect. The location is amazing just a min walk from everything. GREAT restaurants- the best we’ve tried in europe and very affordable too. The apt is beautiful and perfectly clean! Our hosts went out of their way to help us when we needed it and were always friendly and available. Highly recommend!!! Didnt want to leave!

We are very sad to leave the old townhouse today. We have had the most amazing stay! We stayed in the parlour, on the middle floor of the house. The house is in such a good location for reaching everything on foot. Close to the harbour, shops, restaurants and walking distance of boats and swim spots. The local beauty spots, cafes and restaurant recommendations were spot on!
The place itself is beautifully designed – practical and beautiful with a perfect balance. Although compact and without allocated outdoor space, thought has gone into storage, drying things and keeping cool. We appreciated the cool design elements as well as the comfort.
We really appreciated the comfort of a good bathroom, great shower and the bonus of beautiful products too such as hand wash and shampoo.
We would recommend to any couple looking for a great base from which to explore or simply relax.

We had an absolutely wonderful 3 days in Stari Grad. The apartment was perfect and we would have loved to have stayed longer! We’d definitely recommend hiring bikes from Sonja and Stella too!

What a special place! We stayed for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The apartment is beautifully furnished and in a great location for exploring Stari Grad and for getting out into the Plains and beyond. Sanja was so helpful and helped us with arranging push bikes, a motorbike and taxis. The town is quieter than Hvar town but there’s still so much to do and the restaurants are fantastic! You will be spoilt with good food and wine. We’d recommend this for anyone looking for a great stay in Stari Grad!

Our stay in Stari Grad was incredible. The flat is so beautiful and comfortable! Everything we needed was available for us. The location was absolutely perfect. Many delicious local restaurants are nearby. Antika and La Gitana were our favorites!
The best part of staying in this flat is the helpful, kind and lovely caretaker, Sanja. If we needed anything, Sanja was there to help. Sanja and her wonderful family were a highlight of our holiday in Stari Grad and we cannot wait to come back to see them.
This place is perfect.

The apartment was very nice and just as pictured. The hosts did a beautiful job renovating the space. The wifi was a slow and not useable for work, however you should be enjoying the town anyway. Cannot beat the location on the edge of the small town and close to the bus stop. Made carrying luggage and not having to use taxis very convenient. We also loved Stari Grad as it was much slower paced compared to Hvar Town and not over run with cruise ship guests.

We loved this apartment, it has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Stari Grad. It’s spotlessly clean, comfortable, and is close to the harbour, supermarkets and a huge selection of bars and restaurants, whilst being in a super quiet spot. We had a fantastic stay in Stari Grad. The old town house is beautiful and in the perfect location close to great restaurants and beaches- a fab spot to explore the island from. The old townhouse had everything we needed and we enjoyed following Matt’s tips for the best beach spots. We can’t wait to return!!

Lovely apartment in a great location! You’re in the heart of Stari Grad, just steps from the harbor and many restaurants. Very comfortable, great air conditioning, and wonderful amenities! Hosts were great at quick responses and many recommendations for the area. Highly recommend!

Clean and nice appartment. Host that met us was really nice and helpful. There was a folder with tips of what to do on the island that was really good. They give good tips on all from restaurants to beaches to hiking. We really recommend Brizenica Bay.

We had a wonderful stay in Stari Grad at the Old Townhouse. We had the most amazing time and will definitely be coming back! It is honestly magical. The Old Townhouse was everything I’ve were hoping for and more. It makes a stunning and relaxing base to explore an incredible island. Matt is a great host and the recommendations were excellent and should be listened to! So many wonderful places to eat. Then, what a fantastic central location! So many options for swimming in the clearest oceans – so many restorative hikes – beautiful sunsets. What more could you want? If you are even thinking about booking the Old Townhouse, do it! You won’t regret it. It is a real gem.

I had one of the best holidays ever at the Old Townhouse! Imy & Matt were spectacular hosts, they know all the best beaches and restaurants and are so kind and welcoming. The location is perfect, just a 2 minute walk to bars and restaurants. The apartment was stunning, very spacious and comfortable. If you’re looking to stay in Stari Grad I highly recommend.
Side note, having been to Hvar town on a previous trip, I found Stari Grad a much nicer place to stay. It has a tranquil, local feel, rather than the tourist atmosphere of Hvar which is nowhere near as relaxing.

Matt and Imogen were the perfect hosts. The detail they have put in to the luxury flats made my stay that much more special – they really thought of everything.
The flats are beyond stylish and they are situated in the cutest little courtyard, seconds from the beautiful harbour.
Could not recommend this place enough.

The Old Townhouse offers amazing self-catered accommodation in the heart of Starigrad. The accommodation is located within a 2 minute walk from bars, restaurants, a supermarket, bakery and any other shops/amenities you may need. The sea is also only a 2 minute walk from the front door, with multiple beaches also within a short walking distance. The accommodation is very spacious, with a substantial kitchen, dining area, sofa, modern bathroom, air conditioning and all of the mod-cons which you may need. There is also an outside seating area which is rare for this area. The bed is also extremely comfy! To add to this, Imy and Matt (and Maisy of course) have a great local knowledge and were very helpful in providing information and recommendations such as the best/quietest beaches, best restaurants, etc. We cannot wait to return to Starigrad next year and will definitely stay in this accommodation again!

We had a fantastic time at Matthew and Imogen’s house in the Stari Grad old town. The flat was just as described and very close to the centre of the old town and harbour (2 min walk). Check in was very smooth and we were made to feel at home. We couldn’t recommend this more!
